Our proposal approaches social housing as a framework for creating affordable, high-quality living environments that go beyond providing shelter. The project aims to elevate everyday life by fostering well-being, community interaction, and a sense of belonging.
At the heart of the complex lies a central courtyard, functioning as the social core of the scheme — a shared open space that supports children’s play, daily encounters, and informal gatherings. This spatial void becomes an essential generator of community life.
A defining architectural gesture is the continuous elevated walkway, imagined as a red thread that weaves the residential units together. More than a circulation path, it becomes a place for pause, sitting, and conversation — a threshold where movement and life seamlessly intersect.
Ultimately, the project shapes a dynamic and productive living environment, positioning architecture as a catalyst for improving contemporary urban life and nurturing future generations. Through its emphasis on community-driven spatial design, adaptability, and human-centered connections, the project reimagines the potential of social housing today.
