The main design intent of this project was to create a high-quality living environment for low-income communities. The use of the tunnel formwork system served as a strategic solution to reduce construction costs. However, unlike many similar projects that prioritize economic efficiency over design quality, our approach was to reinterpret this system to achieve both affordability and architectural value.

By manipulating volumes, varying the depth of openings, and combining different textures and tones, a dynamic and legible rhythm was formed across the façade — enhancing the visual quality and giving the building a distinctive identity without increasing costs.

The ultimate goal was to create an affordable structure without compromising spatial quality and architectural character; a building that, despite its simplicity, respects the dignity and quality of life of its residents.
